Gameplay





Gameplay is a very complex topic since so incredible much has changed.

We have introduced many changes that have major influence on the server gameplay such as a new Roleplay system which does not require a large rulebook. That is a major improvement to all existing Roleplay modes on the Freelancer servers.
We also decided that Clans should play a larger role on the server again and introduced many new gameplay features for them such as a full clan management system, the ability to build own stations and the Conquest system where clans can start to expand their territories, take control over new systems and of course get rewards for doing so.
Depending on the decisions made on the server the Crossfire Universe can also change there.


But not only there gameplay has changes. Also the Singleplayer does benefit from new ideas and developments

We have build a separation mechanism which removes multiplayer content from the singleplayer experience (this was a major request from several players which did not want to get involved into the Multiplayer).
However the more important gameplay changes are based on the new Crossfire Universe itself.
Crossfire has become alot more dynamic (in singleplayer and multiplayer). The world has become much more lively and interesting… much more realistic and atmospherical. The dynamic mission system was overhauled and balanced, just like the NPC encounters and system layouts. New chances, new risks await the players.


A new, more interesting universe and gameplay awaits every player.
